Leading a SRCC Club Ride is as simple as choosing a route, submitting a ride here, and being at the start location with copies of the waiver and incident reporting forms (and a pen). However, if you want to acquire more confidence in these, and other aspects, of Ride Leadership, the Club offers an OPTIONAL (but highly recommended) Ride Leader Training Program.
SRCC Club members are encouraged to lead Club Rides and to take advantage of the resources offered to all members. Ride Leaders have full SRCC support in their efforts to assist our members in improving their cycling skills and knowledge. The goal is to make Club Rides safer, and more fun, for all types of rides, and riders!
A custom SRCC Ride Leader Jersey will be awarded to any Ride Leader who completes the minimum requirements of the SRCC Ride Leader Training Program as described below. Click HERE to fill out the application once you complete the training. Note, jerseys are only ordered once a year.
