Notes on Registration
You will need to sign up for a specific room type:
- Double room (specify one or two beds when you sign up) - 14 double rooms are available
- Single room (we have a limited number of spots for “solos,” i.e., single occupancy) - up to 4 solos
If you are signing up for a double room, you need to specify a roommate: just one person signs up and adds the name and information for their roommate.
What if I do not have a roommate lined up? You can sign up under "Double Occupancy - need a roommate" and you will be placed on the wait list. We can see if we can pair you and then you get added to the tour (*no payment until you are added).
OVERVIEW
Join your SRCC friends for a 10-night trip to three amazing areas in the Willamette Valley, Oregon with rolling hillsides cutting through acres of farmland, dozens of covered bridges crossing creeks and rivers, and forested foothills in the mountain ranges. We will visit three wonderful towns that are well known for their scenic beauty and cycling routes, including portions of the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, the first official scenic bikeway in the United States.
Bike rides suitable for a variety of pace and skill levels will be available at each location, ranging from flat/rolling to hillier. The mandatory riding days (when we move locations) range from 30-47 miles and are relatively flat. This tour is the “inn-to-inn” style – no camping!
TOUR FEE
- The tour fee is $1,700 per person, double occupancy
- For single occupancy, the additional single supplement will be $925 (additional)
Participants are encouraged to find their own roommate if possible; as noted above, we have provided limited spots for those without a roommate and we will attempt to pair you.
The initial deposit is $100 (payable online). The first installment (by check*) of $600 will be due within 2 weeks of your registration. The second and final installment (by check*) of $1,000 will be due by March 1, 2027. Fees are based on double occupancy; those preferring single occupancy will need to pay a single supplement of $925 (with the second installment).
* Arrangements can be made to pay by credit card for an additional fee of 3.5% per installment (to cover credit card fees).

The features above include 2 group dinners, 3 lunches, 10 breakfasts and one special event (wine/food tasting). Your tour leader team will provide some snacks for the road but 6 lunches will be on your own (leaders will provide suggestions for lunch stops). Route maps/cue sheets/TCX files, sightseeing information, luggage transport, coordination of activities, and more will also be provided by the tour organizers. Participants are responsible for paying for their own dinners. except for the two group dinner nights. The hotels are located such that participants can walk to restaurants (or drive when we are in Lebanon).
We will have a "support" vehicle available in case of emergencies and with some basic first aid supplies and tools, but there will be no SAG on the road (your leadership team will also be riding each day, with the exception of the move days). So all participants are expected to be self-sufficient on the road.
Tour participants are covered by the club’s insurance should an accident happen while on the tour routes. Note that any accidents during driving to or from the tour, as well as theft of your bicycle or belongings, is not covered. All participants need to be responsible for keeping their bicycle and belongings safe and secure.
HOTELS
Hotels are all centrally located in each town, within walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and amenities so you can experience the area and local flavors. The following are the tour hotels:
- Lebanon: Best Western Premier Boulder Falls Inn (with outdoor heated pool and hot tub, bar, restaurant, japanese garden)
- Corvallis: Holiday Inn Express on the River (with indoor pool and whirlpool)
- Eugene: Inn on 5th Downtown (provides enjoy complimentary snacks, bottled water, wine, and beer throughout the stay)
PRELIMINARY ITINERARY
The tour will start and end in Lebanon, Oregon. Participants will organize into carpools for traveling up to Lebanon and then back to Sonoma County. The tour leader team will assist in arranging carpools, but it is ultimately up to the participants to secure transportation. Vehicles can be left at the hotel in Lebanon during the tour, with overnights in Corvallis and Eugene. A truck hauling a trailer will be used for luggage transport.
Participants should arrive at the first location, in Lebanon, OR (about 10 hours drive from Sonoma County) by ~4pm. We will have a meeting and a group dinner.
Saturday, August 7 - Sunday, August 8
Rides in/around Lebanon, ranging from short and fairly flat/rolling to longer and hilly and something in between. Pick from multiple routes each day leaving from the hotel.
Monday, August 9
Luggage gets loaded up in the morning for transport and the group rides to the next location, in Corvallis, OR.
Tuesday, August 10 – Wednesday, August 11
Rides in Corvallis through mostly farmlands, vineyards (Willamette Valley), and covered bridges! You can find a few hills if you head W/NW or further east. Again we will have options on routes. Something for everyone, from bike paths to farmlands and rolling hills or longer with bigger hills.
Thursday, August 12
We move again to Eugene, OR which has over 70 miles of paved multi-use paths and 190 miles of bike lanes, making it one of the top bike-friendly cities in the United States.
Friday, August 13– Saturday, August 14
Rides in/around the Eugene area.
Sunday, August 15
We travel back to Lebanon, OR and have a final group dinner.
Monday August 16
RIDE PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
Please remember that the Tour Leaders are volunteers, and that successful tours depend on participants providing much of their own support. Participants are expected to come to the ride well trained, in good health and ready to accomplish the required daily riding using well-maintained bicycles. All participants should accept responsibility for a safe and enjoyable tour. Please do not interfere with the ride by inviting non-participants onto any portion of the ride or tour. Please keep the Tour Leader informed of any special request you may have. Tour participants must be SRCC members.

Cancellation Policy
- Within 30 days of registration (or before October 24th at the latest), you will receive a full refund.
- After 30 days, refunds of tour payments will depend upon whether a replacement rider signs up, and on costs that can be recouped. The amount refunded will be based on the principle that neither the tour’s remaining participants nor the Club will incur any additional cost as a result of cancellations. If the cancelling participant is replaced, a refund will be made at that time, less a $25 fee.
- If the cancelling participant can't be replaced, any refund will be determined after the tour and final expenses are tabulated.
- If a single participant cancels and another roommate cannot be found, in addition to other costs that cannot be recouped, the cancelling roommate may also be liable for the single supplement fee of the roommate remaining on the tour.
Note: tour cancellation fees vary based on tour costs and financial obligations.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify trips for any reason if circumstances make it necessary. In the event that SRCC needs to cancel, we will do our best to provide a 30 day notice and a full refund for monies received. Refunds will be for the tour fee only, less any costs expended and not refunded to SRCC due to the cancellation, and do not include transportation or other expenses incurred on the part of tour participants. Tours are generally held rain or shine. Thanks for your support and understanding.
