Let's ride up some hills! Come with enough food and water to get to mile 43. We'll stop for food and water in the town of Calistoga. Western Mine road is gravel and downhill for 2 miles. Sharpe has about 1/4 mile of hard packed dirt. There are some lovely quiet steep roads on this route: Franz Valley, Ida Clayton, Kortum Canyon. And there are a few traffic-y stretches: Mark West/Porter, Hwy29 and Calistoga Rd. Please note the elevation gain, this is a climb-y ride!

Pre-registration for this ride is required (not including the leader/leaders). Registration will close at midnight the night before the ride is scheduled. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration as far in advance as possible (login to the SRCC website, go to the event page, click “already registered,” and then click the button to cancel).

The Ride Leader will post the ride information and any changes to the location of start time, on the Club Ride Info Forum (see below) usually several days in advance of the ride.. If the ride is cancelled, that will also be posted on the forum. The route, including a RwGPS link, will be posted either on this page or on the forum.

PLEASE arrive at LEAST 10 minutes before the ride start time and be ready to ride at the start time.

  • Visitors are welcome on their first club ride without joining the club but must sign this Liability Release. Please print, sign it and give it to the ride leader before the ride. Please note that this privilege may only be used once - you must become a member before attending your second club ride.
