Starts at Larkspur SMART station lower parking lot

SIGNUPS REQUIRED: we will be limited to 20 riders because the ferry is small
and can only hold that many bicycles.

Ride the Smart train south to arrive in Larkspur at 8:29 (see special July 3 schedule below)Or drive down - but all need to be at the Larkspur SMART station lower parking lot at 8:45AM for a roll out at 9:00AM.  Return trains northbound from Larkspur at 2:23, 2:55 or 3:27.

This ride is as beautiful as it is exciting. Leaving Larkspur Landing at 9am we travel over the Richmond Bridge bike path, through the small town of Pt. Richmond, through a tunnel and along a bayside park to the Port of Richmond. Traveling along the Bay shore for over 10 miles we pass marshlands, horse racing track and connect to the Bay Bridge bike path across the street from Ikea.

Over Yerba Buena Island is a short climb to then descend onto Treasure Island and catch the ferry to SF ($5). Safely we ride through the City, along the Embarcadero to Aquatic Park, across Crissy field to the entrance to the Golden Gate Bridge, a short climb, over and through Sausalito and Mill Valley to the finish.

Lots of places to stop for water, flush toilets and refreshments along the way. Option to take the GGBD Ferry back at 35 miles.
